Teacher Training Retreat in Sligo
Study, Practice, Play
February, 16th - 18th, 2024
We’re heading to the hills of Sligo to the magical site of Cabragh Lodge. The Lodge was built in harmony and symphony with the surround beauty of the landscape. In this place we will study, practice and play together.
This is a chance for you to have some ‘time out’ to learn and grow through the practice Anusara Yoga. This is the perfect Bealtaine/Spring reset.
Experiencing Anusara Yoga can change your practice and teaching in a profound way. The attention to the biomechanics of the poses is a welcome education. The intention of the practice is not to create some perfect outer form but rather to deepen your relationship with your own consciousness and the Universal Consciousness.
Who is this retreat for?
This is suitable for Yoga Teachers and Practitioners who want to deepen their own practice of asana, philosophy and meditation in a fun atmosphere. There are two options.
- Teacher Tune Up – As a teacher you can choose to do the full 24 hours of training. Think of this as a teacher tune up. We will look at the fundamentals of teaching a yoga class. Voicing, directionality, your posture and movement in the space and much more.
- Weekend Retreat – you can come and take part in the group practices both morning and afternoon. Enjoy delicious food and free-time in this beautiful place.
Either way, you will learn about Anusara Yoga’s Universal Principles of Alignment and be inspired by the non dual tantric philosophy that supports the practice. If you are looking to tune up your practice then this is the perfect choice for you. If you are a yoga teacher looking for inspiration and a deeper understanding, then come along and join others who are on the same path.
This is an opportunity to challenge yourself and grow as a yogi and/or teacher. It’s also a chance to get away with some fun loving, open hearted people to recharge your batteries.
Immerse yourself in yoga and a supportive community and avail of my three decades of experience of yoga practice, teaching and training. For those who are taking the Retreat Option, there is also plenty of down time to relax, read, hike etc.
This promises to be a full-hearted, transformative experience spent in like-minded company. Expect a lot of joy, laughter and fun!
So, specifically, the retreat is for,
