Yoga Therapy - You Can Heal Yourself

As a Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), I offer specialised sessions using yoga tools to support your physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

What is Yoga Therapy?

Yoga Therapy is a personalised, evidence informed approach to healing that meet you where you are - physically, emotionally and energetically.

Further, Yoga Therapy is the process of empowering individuals to progress towards improved health and well-being through the application of the teachings and practices of yoga (IAYT). It is far more than a yoga class. It is a personalised and holistic practice designed around you - your history, nervous system and ability to heal. It supports you on all levels, body, mind and spirit.

This therapy tailors the practices to suit the individual. Practices include ritual, movement (asana), breathwork (pranayama), meditation/mindfulness, sound (chanting) and deep relaxation (restorative yoga & yoga nidra). This is a practice which addresses you as the whole and complex person that you are. It is where not only physical conditions are addressed but rather the complex levels of dis-ease and pain that are both seen and the unseen. Therefore there are psychological, and spiritual elements as well as physical practices.

Yoga Therapy uses evidence-informed methods and adapts them with care and intelligence. It is recognised globally - including in hospitals, rehabilitation centres and integrative health centres and wellness clinics. This means you are not signing up for a regular yoga class rather, you are engaging in a legitamate therapeutic modality designed to support long-term health and resilience.

What to Expect When We Work Together 1:1?

When you choose to work with me, here's what the process looks like;

  • Intake & Assessment: We begin with a thorough conversation about your history, health, posture, lifestyle, movement habits, breath, diet and what you hope to change. This establishes a strong, safe and sound foundation.
  • Personalised Yoga Therapy Plan: Arising from the assessment, I will tailor a plan for you that will integrate some of all of the following; asana (movment and poses), breath work, meditation, mindfullness, therapeutic relaxation, movement adaptations and lifestyle guidance (a bit of homework)
  • Guided Sessions and Practice Together; online on Zoom. (Occasionally I can work in inperson if the geography fits) Learn to listen to your body, lose tension, gain strength and repattern unhealthy habits with patience and respect.
  • Long-Term Support & Empowerment: As you progress I will offer tools and advice for a sustainable home practice so that you can continue growing and healing beyond the therapy sessions ?

  • Intense fitness or acrobatics
  • 'One Size Fits All' classes
  • Quick fixes or unrealistic promises
  • Replacing necessary medical care with physical therapy

Why Work With Me?

With over 30 years of body therapeutics and healing experience - including massage, craniosacral therapy, sports therapy and reflexology, I bring a deep structural understanding of the human body. My background also includes Anatomy and Physiology diploma and other training in the structure and function of the body and movement.


Over the years I have worked with one to one with hundreds and hundreds of clients, taught regular classes and therapeutic sessions and trained hundreds of yoga teachers to work with better clarity, safety and depth. That experience informs every session - not just what we do, but how and why we do it.


On top of that, I am a trained Transformative Coach and Systemic Constellation Coach (1) blending body based healing with breath, psyche and life pattern awareness.


Yoga therapy is complementary - it works with your body, mind and heart and alongside your medical care.


Natural Healing - 3 Session Package

This is most reccommended for you in order to experience real results and gain confidence to continue this work as part of your on going health plan.

Session 1 - Intake (1.5hrs)

Session 2 - Personalised Yoga Therapy Plan - we will work through all aspects of the plan to lead you to your best health outcome (1hr)

Session 3 - Repetition, questions and any adjustments needed to the daily and or weekly plan (1hr)


On top of this, you will have ongoing email support from me during the course of your Yoga Therapy Package. Occasionally I may offer short video practices as support if necessary or helpful.


Cost: €325

Note: Sessions must be completed within 6 weeks from start date.
