This course is rooted in the understanding that yoga isn’t about achieving a perfect shape; it’s about creating a meaningful experience in your body, mind & heart. Each posture is a conversation, not a command.

You’ll learn how to interpret poses in ways that help you build strength, cultivate flexibility, and reconnect with your own inner source of power, steadiness, and joy.

As a yoga therapist, I work with people of all ages and stages of life. This practice is truly for everybody—whether you’re feeling disconnected, stressed, weak, stiff, or simply out of rhythm with yourself. Through intelligent movement, mindful breath, and compassionate guidance, Yoga for Wellness helps you feel more at home in your body, comfortable in your skin and more at ease in your life.

This isn’t about pushing harder. It’s about listening more closely—and discovering what’s possible when you do

  3. Balance Training to prevent falls
  4. Strenghening & Lengthening - legs, hips, spine and upper body
  5. Use of resistance bands
  6. Incorporating breathwork for inner support and glowing health

Why Work With Me?

I've been working as a therapist since 1992 and bring three decades of experience to this work alongside my own lived experience as a woman (yoga practitioner, mother, business woman) in my sixties. I understand the physical realities, emotional impact and the practical questions that come with a diagnosis around bone health.

My approach is grounded, informed and empowering - focussed on helping you understand your body, trust its capacity to adapt and take an active role in your own wellbeing. This work isn't about fixing or fear. It's about learning how strong, resilient and capable you already are and building on that with clarity and confidence. An added bonus is that I love to bring people together, for community and have a little fun along the way.

Embodying Philosophy Workshop

As Above - So Below

Location: Kindred Studios, Sligo

Time: Starts 10am - 12.30pm

Date: TBC

Cost: €45

If you are curious to know more about the origins and philosophy of yoga then this is the place for you. These teachings have been handed down orally for centuries and the truth that is innately present within the texts are still as relevant now as at any other time in history. This is because they speak to the the human heart, the part of us that is unchanging.

We will start with a short lecture based on the fundamental non-dual Tantric philosophy of Oneness. We then move into a deep and fun practice while embodying the life changing teachings of the Yoga Tradition.
